A charming historical novel set in the late 1800s. Born and raised in the hills of Kentucky, Laura “Copper” Grace loves the wilderness of her home in Troublesome Creek. But when her stepmother threatens to send her away to boarding school to become a lady, Copper faces the possibility of losing everything that is precious to her. Copper must come to terms with her family and discover the true meaning of home. Nothing can drag her off the mountain, until the day she realizes that God has other plans for her life.
I am truly loving these stories… I love your work. I have a movie going on in my mind all the time… My co-worker is not a reader but I had told her about Troublesome Creek, everyday starts out with, “well, what happened last night?” or “What’s she gonna do?” “This would be such a great movie!!!”
I read this great book in December — to find myself not being able to put it down very long before wanting to pick it up and continue with the lives of the characters. Just finished the second in the series, Willow Spring, and loved it equally as well. Can’t wait to continue with the next novel!
Thanks for the great writing — I’ve become a fan!

Read your book Troublesome Creek. Enjoyed it so much. Just like your other readers , could not put down. Hope you will write more about Copper. This is the first book I read of yours, but it won’t be last. Thanks for the great writing of Christian reading. I am a fan. Take care and May God continue to Bless you in every way.
I’m a librarian at a small rural library in Alabama. I don’t have any of your book in the library, but I was ask to add your books. Looking up some of the novels on your website..I am very impressed and plan to purchase several of your books to add to our collection. Seems like they will be an asset to our library. Love the fact they are Christian books.
just found your books and I love them
